About / Ownership
Yes. Fanno is one of our own manufactured brands — we build Fanno saws using U.S. and international parts, continuing a name professionals have trusted for over 100 years.
Fanno Materials & Craftsmanship
Fanno saws use high-carbon steel blades with Japanese-style Tri-Edge tooth patterns, engineered for fast, clean cuts. Handles are made in the USA — laminated hardwood for traditional models, ergonomic designs for folding saws.
Fanno saws are built to exacting specifications refined over generations of professional use. Most blades are produced in Japan and must pass strict testing here in the USA before they earn the Fanno name.
Fanno's signature Tri-Edge tooth pattern uses three cutting edges on each tooth, letting the saw cut on both the push and pull stroke — dramatically increasing cutting speed while producing a clean kerf.
Curved pruning saws, pole saw blades and folding saws, ranging from 13″ curved saws to 19″ pole saw blades — a staple in orchards and tree care operations for over 100 years.
Caring for Your Fanno Tools
Brush sawdust from the teeth after each use to prevent buildup and corrosion, and wipe the blade with an oiled cloth to protect against rust. When teeth dull beyond sharpening, replacement blades are available for all Fanno saws — simply swap in a new blade rather than replacing the entire saw.
